BET Hip Hop Awards 2021: How to Watch, Nominations, and Who Performs

The 16th annual BET Hip Hop Awards are here!

Filmed at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, GA, Hip-Hop’s Biggest Night officially airs on BET at 9:00 p.m. ET / PT and is packed with talent for a night of fun.

This year’s show is hosted by The 85 South Show (Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly and Chico Bean) and features memorable performances, ciphers and tributes in honor of hip-hop powerhouses including Nelly, Tyler, The Creator, Tobe Nwigwe with Fat , Bia with Lil Jon, Young Thug and Gunna, Latto, Paul Wall, Baby Keem, Isaiah Rashad with Kal Banks and Doechii.

This year’s presenters include: Trina, Remy Ma, Jermaine Dupri and LL Cool J.

Not to mention the ciphers are highlighted and include: Rico Nasty, Tierra Wack, Smino, Grip, D Smoke, Sleepy Hallow, Fivio Foreign, Erica Banks, Kidd Ken, Lakeyah, Toosii, and Symba.

In addition, global entertainment icon, 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and founder and CEO of Rock The Bells, LL Cool J, will present the first-ever Rock The Bells Cultural Influence Award to the Grammy Award-winning rapper, producer, Entrepreneur and four-time BET Hip Hop Awards nominee Tyler, The Creator

Additionally, BET Networks just announced that the longest running rap show Rap City ’21 is returning with a special edition of the program just for the Hip Hop Awards stage. The hour-long segment will be hosted by Big Tigger and premiered Tuesday, October 5 at 8 p.m. ET, an hour before the ceremony, with performances by Jermaine Dupri, Tobe Nwigwe, Fat Joe, Jeezy, DJ Drama, and many others.

2021 has been an amazing year in hip-hop so far, which means there is a lot to look forward to at the upcoming BET Hip Hop Awards 2021.
