On May 1st, Arlington residents will elect a new mayor.
Jeff Williams has served as Mayor of Arlington for six years and has reached the limit of tenure.
Eight candidates have sat down at the board and officially entered the race for the city’s next mayor.
Each of the candidates will take part in an interview this Thursday.
Arlington residents will be asking questions to candidates at Grounds & Gold Coffee starting at 4pm
All eight candidates: Jerry Warden, Marvin Sutton, Cirilo Ocampo Jr., Dewayne T. Washington, Jim Ross, Doni Anthony, Michael Glaspie and Kelly R. Burke have confirmed their participation.
The event will take place at 4pm at 4130 S. Bowen Road and will be available via Facebook Live on The Deeds Group on the RE / MAX Facebook page.
