LOS ANGELES – As previously reported, Dr. Frederick KC Price announced his death on the evening of February 12th after a brief battle with COVID-19.

The family is grateful for the pouring of love and condolences from around the world. In honor of the legacy of Dr. Price A publicly accessible, closed box is planned for Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 5, on both days from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A private family live streaming service will be held on Saturday, March 6th at 11 a.m., followed by a private family funeral. The service can be viewed on the EIF YouTube channel, EIF Facebook page, EIF website Now Watch and the EIF upon request. Amid the reality of COVID-19, the family is very conscious and deeply concerned about the safety of others. Strict adherence to all security protocols is valued and enforced.

The 89-year-old minister had a distinct approach to teaching versus preaching ministry. His goal was for people to expand their knowledge of God, the Bible and its promises, and to apply its principles to the success of their lives.

Dr. In addition to being a teacher of the faith, Price was an avid biblical scholar and author of over 50 books, including How Faith Works, Golden Nuggets: A Treasury of Wisdom for Ministers and Laypeople, Integrity: The Guarantee of Success, and many more.

As a highly disciplined person, Dr. Price a positive role model for excellence. He took God at his word and encouraged others through his personal example of applied learning as a devoted husband and father, as well as an integral employee in the private sector prior to his full-time service in the ministry. He was an avid student of life and an unapologetic advocate of the truth, believing that knowing better can do better.

When the Crenshaw Christian Center was founded in Inglewood, California in 1973, Dr. Price quickly gained a following of those hungry to improve their living conditions through profound Bible teaching. His numerous services, broadcast via his own established Department of Television from Ever-Increasing Ministries of Faith, accelerated growth and resulted in the construction of the Faith Dome, a 10,000-seat sanctuary in south Los Angeles that opened in 1989 and became the Crenshaw in 2001 Christian Center East founded.

Dr. Like Paul, Price was an apostle to the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a true sower – he invested in people’s lives ensuring access to the truth of God’s Word for its triumphant application. Despite his full life as a husband and father, he served as a very present mentor to others. In 1990 he founded the FICWFM (Fellowship of Inner City Word of Faith Ministers) with assemblies to encourage the growth of ministers, their ministries and lay people. The multi-day family affair was a showcase of faith and love in action as people from all corners of the world traveled to absorb deeper biblical teachings.

Dr. Price encouraged everyone to know the Bible for themselves and carefully packed their teachings with practical life examples. He often used his personal life as a learning opportunity for others, pulling the curtain back to expose an early fear of the sea, as he had never learned to swim as a young person. He addressed this problem by becoming an excellent certified diver.

Dr. Price has finally left an indelible mark as a global influencer. His desire was that people from all walks of life develop their full potential to influence their families, homes, jobs and society at large. His dedication and commitment to the South Los Angeles community has been steadfast and unwavering.

Dr. Price is managed by his 67-year-old Dr. Betty Ruth Price, his four children Angela, Cheryl, Stephanie, and Fred Price Jr., pastor of the Crenshaw Christian Center, 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren survived. “He was the consummate father of a family, and that is one of the hallmarks of his ministry and life,” said Angela Evans, daughter and President of the Church.
