Fairfax County police said detectives are working to identify a man believed to be responsible for several incidents in which he exposed himself at an apartment complex in Annandale, Virginia.

In a press release, police described the suspect as a black man between his late teens and early twenties, about six feet tall, with a “slim stature” and wearing blue pajama bottoms for every incident.

The first incident occurred on May 17 when the man was masturbating in the anteroom of an apartment building on the 4400 block of Island Place, according to police.

One woman said she saw the man and quickly walked into a storage room, locking the door behind her. This man was seen on a doorbell camera peeking through a hole in the door into the storage room, but he fled the area before a police officer arrived.

Detectives later learned that another woman met the man that same day in the anteroom of an apartment building on the 7900 block of Dassett Court in Annandale.

This woman said she locked herself in a storage cupboard after the man refused to let her leave the building. The woman was not physically injured in the incident.

The man was spotted again down a stairwell on the 7800 block of Dassett Court on May 18, where another woman encountered the man who said he pounced on her and grabbed her before running out of the area.

Then, on June 1, the man was seen on the 4400 block of Briarwood Court masturbating behind a building while looking into an apartment window. Police said the officers had been contacted by a neighbor, but the man fled before they arrived.

Detectives have asked anyone with information about this suspect to call 703-246-7800, option 3.

The man’s video can be seen below.
