How to Send an E-Card to a Richmond County Teacher

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW / WAGT) – Schools in Richmond County will join schools across the country to celebrate Teacher Recognition Week May 3-7 next week.

“Teachers rose to the challenge and responded to the call to support our students and families amid the global pandemic,” said Dr. Kenneth Bradshaw, superintendent of the Richmond County School System. “Teacher Appreciation Week is a time for us to stop and let our teachers know how much we appreciate their work.”

The school system invites those who wish to recognize a teacher in Richmond County to send teachers an e-card through an online portal.

“Teachers change the lives of their students and families. Many teachers are like family members to students, ”said Dr. Malinda Cobb, Assistant Superintendent, Academic Services. “We felt it was important that our parents, families, and communities could express their gratitude to our teachers. Thank you, there is a long way to go. “

There are four card options and senders can enter a personal message for the teacher.

The link to send a card is now available. The cards will be sent to the teachers from May 3rd to May 10th.
