* The weird one Quinta Brunson is en route to ABC with her own single-camera comedy pilot, where she will star, write and produce.
The project, called Harrity Elementary, is a workplace comedy about a group of teachers brought together in one of the worst public schools in the country simply because they love to teach. Teachers will rely on each other to get through the day and find a way to counter the school district’s bullsh-t attitudes towards raising children.
According to Variety, Brunson scored a pilot production engagement in 2018 Jermaine Fowler and Larry Wilmore for a multi-cam comedy that would star her and Fowler. Her recent onscreen credits include “Big Mouth”, “iZombie”, “Lazor Wulf” and “A Black Lady Sketch Show”.
Here is one of the latter’s favorite sketches, “Courtroom Kiki,” in which she plays a defense attorney.

… Before becoming a video producer and development partner at Buzzfeed Motion Pictures.
Brunson also directed her own Facebook watch series “Quinta vs. Everything”.
