Richmond Cops: W. Greenwich Teen sells THC vape pens to child

RICHMOND – A West Greenwich teenage boy faces charges after Richmond police allege they found 33 THC cartridges and nearly $ 800 in his car while a traffic obstruction was on March 11th.

Michael J. Hazelwood, 18, 439 Plain Meeting House Road, had just delivered two psychoactive vape cartridges to a 13 year old when he was stopped. This comes from a notice from the Richmond Police Chief Elwood M. Johnson, Jr.

After the traffic obstruction at 7:30 pm, Hazelwood was booked at the police station and released on summons to appear in the 4th District Court. He was charged with possession with intent to supply a List 1 drug and possession of marijuana.

THC or tetrahydrocannabinol is the psychoactive element in cannabis.
