Richmond gas prices have risen 10 cents a gallon over the past week, Gas Buddy says

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Richmond gas prices rose more than 10 cents a gallon over the past week, according to Gas Buddy.

On Monday, prices averaged $ 3.08 per gallon across the city from 567 stations examined. That’s 10.1 cents more than last week.

GasBuddy also reports that the cheapest station in Richmond on Monday is $ 2.79 a gallon, while the most expensive is $ 3.25 a gallon – a 46 cents difference.

The lowest price in the state is $ 2.85 per gallon while the highest is $ 3.59 per gallon, which makes the difference to 74 cents per gallon.

Although the price has risen faster, prices in Virginia are still below the national average of $ 3.25 per gallon. The national average is up 7.5 cents per gallon from the previous month and is $ 1.08 per gallon higher than a year ago.
