Richmond is asking citizens to provide feedback on how casino money is being spent

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – The city of Richmond announced on Friday that it is launching a commitment to seek feedback from residents on how the city plans to spend the $ 25.5 million ONE Casino and Resort has raised at the Prepaid if voters approve the casino gambling referendum on November 2nd.

This cash payment is part of the resort casino host’s community agreement recently approved by the city council on July 27th. ONE Casino will make the first payment to the city through January 2023 and will make an additional payment of $ 1 million when funding for the project is completed.

Richmond Casino officially votes for the election

The city will be soliciting feedback from citizens from August 13th to September 6th. You will conduct a digital survey, targeted print surveys, and public meetings in English and Spanish. The engagement period will mainly focus on Southside, but all Richmond residents are invited to take part.
