Concert schedules announced for the July 4th celebration in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Richmond Parks and Recreation announced plans to bring the gala concert back on July 4th this year.

According to Richmond Parks and Recreation, the lineup will include Vintage Voodoo, Nightshade Music KY, and The Powell Brothers.

A post on social media said in part: “All three bands are exciting artists who each bring their own sound to the stage.”

4th of July concert:

5 p.m. – Vintage Voodoo

6 p.m. – nightshade music KY

8:15 p.m. – The Powell Brothers

The concert will take place in Lake Reba Park.

Erica joins the ABC 36 family as the co-anchor of Good Morning Kentucky on weekdays from 5 to 7 a.m. with Cody Adams and Good Day Kentucky on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Erica also anchors the news at noon from 12pm to 12.30pm. She is also a producer of web and social media content. Erica graduated from Michigan State University in three and a half years with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism specializing in women, gender, and social justice. Despite being from Michigan, Erica has worked as a news reporter / sports anchor for the CBS subsidiary in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. She previously worked for a PBS subsidiary covering all kinds of news – and even provided live coverage for The Weather Channel during her first hurricane. She then moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana, and worked as a weekend anchor / reporter at KPLC, the NBC / FOX / CW subsidiary. Erica comes to Lexington from the Huntington area, where she worked at WSAZ, a subsidiary of NBC / CW in West Virginia, as a weekday evening anchor, also covering the three states of Ohio and Kentucky. In addition to her television background, Erica has worked on the radio, been the PA spokesperson for Class L “Lansing Lugnuts,” and has hosted Mardi Gras parades in the US Virgin Islands. Some of her favorite hobbies are running, reading, hiking, spending time with her husband, and taking pictures of their furbabies. Erica is deeply involved in the community, serving on the Dress for Success board of directors, volunteering as a Big with Big Brothers Big Sisters, serving on the Lake Charles Mayor’s Armed Forces Committee, and hosting numerous events.
