VIRGINIA – Food Lion is holding job fairs next week in its stores in the Middle Atlantic and Southeast, including Virginia, to fill full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.
On Tuesday, October 12th, Food Lion will hold job interviews in its branches from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Applicants can simply go to their nearest Food Lion during these times and meet with a member of the business’s executive team to discuss the opportunities available in that business.
Food Lion said a similar hiring event that Food Lion hosted in July and August resulted in the hiring of more than 16,000 employees.
The vacancies available vary by store and department in each store. Food Lion said it offers flexible planning options.
Food Lion, a subsidiary of the Dutch company Ahold Delhaize, has more than 1,100 stores in 10 southeastern and mid-Atlantic countries and employs more than 82,000 people.
